Washington County dispatchers may get reward for working during gas leak As Washington County Municipal Center was evacuated Monday, the 911 dispatchers stayed at their desks. They kept dispatching emergency calls while workers found a gas leak, turned off the furnace that provided heat to the building, and eventually fixed the problem at 10 p.m.

KTSM has obtained the police report detailing an officer-involved shooting that left one man dead two months ago. As KTSM previously reported, the incident happened October 10 outside of the Pebble Hills police station in East El Paso. Richard Palafox, 76, was identified as the man killed in the exchange with officers. KTSM.

What a great turnout!  Santa is always the favorite at the Family/Kids Christmas Party.  The children were front and center just waiting for him to appear.  They listen for his bell and when they hear it, they all head for the front of the room and gather around his chair.  I love watching them, their eyes full of excitement.  it is a great thing to behold.

Wounded Warriors Leave

Brothers and Sisters, Please find attached the notification from the USPS that they have revised the leave that is offered through the Wounded Warriors Leave (WWL) Act of 2015 to all eligible employees at the beginning of each leave year. This will begin effective leave year 2019 (January 5, 2019).  The eligible employees will receive an allotment of 104 hours of WWL.
